Measure... Plan... Live your dream!

What if we got promoted and our salary rose to two hundred thousand from just forty thousand per month.  Within three months we will become debtors (may be, I should say again). In the first month we will rock everybody by setting up parties every weekend. In the second month we will settle all the debts we owe and on third month we will plan and get marketing calls. Then we will buy a luxury home, Audi or BMW. These all can’t be done with just two hundred thousand. So we go for a loan, but we easily get a loan with our last three months payslip. As a result, we will end up paying interest every month and get back to office with the fear of losing the job.

This is how it ends and begins on every rise we get. In reality we do not just plan what we really want. Everybody has a dream to chase but each day end up in going to the office. We have heard a lot like, ‘want to fulfil my responsibilities... food for my family, children’s education, home, debts... Is it all about earning enough money? If yes, then first we must measure the term enough.

Measuring is important. In reality we pay more for luxury than what we really need for chasing our dreams. In the hierarchy of needs - food, clothing and shelter comes first, dream comes after. So we should be clear on what we want good tasty food or luxury food? They are very much different from one another. Good tasty food can be cooked with quality provisions or can be bought from a good hotel. Luxury food means having anything on Hilton, ITC and paying for their brand names. The same applies for dresses, houses and anything we spend on daily. We must be clear about the basic only then we can achieve one after another. When we are not clear on what we need then we do not achieve love or belonging and easily go for divorce and things get worse.

So firstly, we need to measure what we mean by ‘enough’.  Then secondly, the most important thing is savings, just saving 10%, 20% or even 30% of every month salary. That is good, but the question to be answered is for what we are saving? In some cases we earn to save, for the future, which is very much accepted as uncertain.

Here too we must plan, out of 10% cut it like 2% for emergency, 5% for children education and 3% to do things we love most. Spend it before we exhaust or expire on things we love most and dream to experience. For this, we will never need a raise of some 425%.

Never Sacrifice!

I remember once after proposal and acceptance we met in a restaurant to talk further. She asked me to take non-vegetarian meal though she doesn't like but I refused n took veg. After meal while we were returning she asked me, ‘why you didn't take non-veg meal... are you sacrificing your preference for me?’

‘Ah! Is it so?’

‘Hmmm’

‘Alright, if I offer you an apple n ice cream what will you choose?’

‘mmm... of course I go for ice cream’

‘huh, so you sacrifice an apple, don’t you?

‘Hey.. no, it’s... ... !’

Before she completes, ‘That’s how... I didn't n 'll never sacrifice anything for you.. .... I choose you out of everything...’

Complete Trade!

I have never seen a teacher they are wholesalers!
I never educated but got a material to sell!
I never learned how to lead my life but how to market myself!
I’m not in any place to enrich my knowledge – But
I’m in a market
I refined the articles there in the text books and showcasing my ability
It’s an auction happening over my buried dreams!
E very school is a wholesale market!
Every child is a retailer!
Every company is customer!
Everywhere it’s all just a trade!

Best Judge!

In a social network at the time when most of the people are talking about Sachin Tendulkar retirement I came across a note comparing him with Imran Khan, as Sachin Tendulkar built own house for millions and billions where Imran built free cancer institution. After reading this note something stroked me, we all are earning enough have we ever compared ourselves with Mr.Kalayanasundaram, a librarian who donated his 30 years salary and even his pension amount to needy.

Have we ever tried to donate something from our every month salary? We would have 150 CC or 180 CC bikes which may cost 80K or 90K. Why is that we haven’t gone for XL super which cost only less than 20 thousand. So the rest we could have donated. So when we compare ourselves with Kalayanasundaram we should not even celebrate festivals and even our birthdays.

Here this man Sachin Tendulkar he worked for his passion and he achieved something that may take century to reach for anyone. So his retirement is celebrated by most of the cricket lovers. Then they are recognizing a player and this is not an event for social service and in that event Imran Khan may get better applause then Sachin and moreover we don’t know what Sachin Tendulkar contributed to needy.

We easily say they are wrong and these are right but we never judge ourselves and that’s the time we go completely wrong.  Every night we will not sleep as soon as we fall on bed (to sleep). It would be better if we recall the whole day from morning till the time we fell on bed what we have done and what went rightly and what really went wrong, what is our contribution to those beautiful right moments and the wrong moments instead of thinking anything.

Most importantly we should forgive ourselves for the mistakes we have did and very most important is make sure that we should never repeat the same mistake.

This is my love...

As everyone you may have many friends
There may be a guy
You may go out with them all every time
You may eat with them
Chat with them...
Laugh with them... all the time
Even at night
You may sit tight
At times you even say to me that you love to be with them
That never pinches my possessiveness
Time when you’re upset n cry for any reason...
Then someone from there consoles you
Made you smile
Only that pinches me
Piss me off...
That’ll ask me why I’m here when someone is take care of your smile!
